I love how a little bit of color can really add to a brides dress.
There are Ashley and her Mom's shoes. They were basically the same only one with a heel.
Ashley and her Mom holding hands as Ashley is buttoned into her wedding dress.
I always suggest the bride wait until she is dressed to open any gifts or cards from her soon to be husband. It allows her to have a couple minutes of alone time.
Whenever it is day and there is a window, I like to get a silhouette.
This church had some beautiful light coming in through the stained glass.
Ashley's Dad is a deacon and he actually married them. Which I thought was so special.
Ashley and Ray found this amazing spot in Scranton for their portraits before the reception. It was moments before sunset when we got there and that is the perfect light for portraits. When we arrived there was an officiant and he thought for a split second that Ashley and Ray were the couple he was waiting to marry.
After portraits here there was a couple who came and got married on this very spot.
Fall Wedding Colors
I honestly love love love October weddings. The colors and the way the sun sets is so unique it helps us capture images that look like they are almost fake and not really outside.
How adorable are they!?
Right before we left for the reception we did these portraits really quick and I am glad we did.
Instead of a complete wedding cake, they choose to have cupcakes with a cake up to top they could cut.
Cake Cutting time.
The father daughter dance was so special. We played with the lights in the background to add some depth to each image.
Surprise Birthday cake for Ray!
If you follow us, you already know how much I love ring shots. We usually collect the rings at the reception during some down time. I love setting up different lighting situations to create some unique and beautiful ring images.
